Planners International Events
Planners International Events sell motor racing art including the original paintings, prints, and secondary market prints. You can find paintings of all the current and past motor racing heros from events such as the Formula One Grand Prix and Le Mans.
This site makes use of caching headers generated by PHP to improve responsiveness and give the user the impression that the site runs faster than it actually does. This site consists of many images which had to be optimised and thumbnailed. The image details are stored in a flat file database and loaded on the fly to produce the various gallery pages within the site. The site was written to be easily updated in the future while being standards compliant and search engine optimised.

This website allows currency to be tracked around the country as it passes from person to person. The website had to be easy to use and very fast to load.
MySQL was chosen to provide the database that runs the site, with business logic being implemented in a PHP object layer. For greatest compatibility the website was written in HTML 4.01.

Designed for a charity art event, the client then wanted to promote artwork from the charity and associated prints of the artwork that they were going to sell.
This website had to be designed and developed to a strict deadline in order to have the site live before the associated charity event.

This website began as a way for my family to discover what I wanted for christmas without me knowing what I was going to be getting. I made the service available to the public and within two months it had over 200 members.
The site is built using a MySQL database with the business logic programmed in PHP. I tried to design the site to appeal to an audience of any age and also take account of usability and accessibility requirements.
